JLC FAMILIES
SUPPORT MITZVAH DAY
NOVEMBER 4, 2012
Please bring new 18 ounce jars of
peanut butter and 18 ounce jars of jelly to your classroom by October 30, 2012
to support our sandwich making project for local homeless shelters.
We will make 1000 sandwiches on Mitzvah
Day!
We also are making 100 sandwiches
every month on the last Shabbat of the month after services.
Help spread the word as you spread
the peanut butter!
Encourage your family and friends to join the Adat Ari El collection. The sandwiches will be used to feed
individuals served by North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry, Union Station and
other local shelters.
Please bring in your jars and join
us on November 4th for a day of service.
Our goal is to make 1000 sandwiches between 10:00 a.m. and noon!
If you are allergic to peanuts,
a variety of other family friendly
activities will be available for your participation!
